New wheels and rodent control
We are proud owners of a 98 Ford Falcon stationwagon! Oh yes, we have 4 more wheels now. We are cleaning her (him?) up for a northerly trip, leaving tomorrow.
Coupled with that great news is that John (new friend) and Wayne captured the rat that we have been co-habitating with while staying at John & Julie's place. He was an illusive fella, avoiding traps for over 2 weeks now.
Sunday was d-day when Wayne heard him behind the fridge. John & Wayne pulled out the fridge, little scamper came running out seeking a place to hide and ended up in the bedroom closet where Kami took the pictures below (from outside, through the window!).
Wayne locked John IN the closet with headlamp and, after much banging and clanging, scamper was caught with broom and tongs.
There are brave men in the neck of these Denmark woods!

Final Destination Reached!
We didn't stick a Canadian flag into Albany soil, but we should have!
We reached Albany, Western Australia - our 'final cycling destination' this week.
We cycled from Denmark and toured this beautiful port city... with plans to re-visit soon.
Shortly we will sport a '98 Ford Stationwagon... with which to carry our belongings and Tandie (bike) as well. This will be our new 'home'! One more month to go in Australia (can it be true?!).
Our refined plan is to travel, a wee bit faster, with our car ... up the coast to warmer climates...visiting a few newly-made-friends along the way. We are excited about this change, it will be good.
Our 1200 km cycled is below what we thought we would cover, nevertheless it was fantastic and we enjoyed this cycling experience. We were a major attraction with our "road train" (as the aussies call it) and met a lot of great people because of it. We are thankful for each opportunity and for safety God granted us on the roads!
Now it is time to get our next 'mobile (yet to be named) all ready for it's road adventure. Hopefully it carries us as far as Exmouth, WA where the snorkelling is incredible... stay tuned to find out.
